S&S Saimin - Frozen Packet - continued
Since this is a frozen saimin, what you will need is a pot, or a bowl that can be used in a microwave.  In this case, I used a small pot to heat up the water.  As the water was heating up, I tore the plastic wrap off the noodles and separated them from the pouch of dry broth.

On the front of the S&S package, it says the noodles are fully cooked; but on the back of the package it says do not defrost the noodles.  The company recommends cooking the noodles either frozen or refrigerated.  Since these packages, as far as I can recall, have always come in a frozen state, I've found that running the frozen noodles under some running water helps to "quick-thaw" them, and helps enable you to eat sooner.
