| Hula Brand - Reviewed 11/1/07 |
| Aside from Hula Brand saimin, I am not sure if there are any other types of dry saimin on the market. Hula, manufactured by the Modern Macaroni Company in Honolulu, Hawaii, is sold locally and internationally. (There is a link at the end of this review for purchase over the internet. Or click here to go directly to the Web site.) The first thing that caught my eye about Hula Brand saimin was the beautiful package it comes in. As seen above, it comes in a clear cellophane-type of bag which has a picture of a man playing music behind a dancing hula girl. It is all framed by green and yellow foliage which streaks up the side of the package and two bold red stripes on top and bottom. The version of Hula Brand saimin I will be reviewing today is for the 7 oz. version which contains three-and-a-half 2oz. servings. |
