3/6/05:  According to a Daily Yomiura article from Japan, Korean TV dramas rule the airwaves in
Japan.  
Romance in Paris began airing on March 2 on NTV Monday thru Thursday from 10:25 a.m.
to 11:20 a.m.  
First Love will start March 31 on NHK BS-2.  All In will replace Beautiful Days on
NHK in the Saturday night timeslot at 11:10 beginning April 16.  (Thanks fellow addict Manny for the

3/4/05:  The Original Sound Track for
Ode to the Han River is now available at YesAsia by clicking
here.  The DVDs (with English subtitles) for Ruler of Your Own World and Phoenix are expected to
be released around March 31 and April 15, respectively.  More info on these DVDs will be provided

YesAsia starts taking pre-orders.

3/3/05:  The DVD for
Stairway to Heaven (starring Kwon Sang Woo and Choi Ji Woo) is expected
to be released by

Toram
, which KBFD-TV showed last week without prior notice, is also expected to be released for

2/2/05:  
Park Sun Young's new KBS drama, 18 vs. 29, will start next week in Korea on Monday

3/1/05:  In the past,
leukemia frequently was used in Korean TV dramas to kill off a leading
character and add drama to the storyline.  The illness in vogue nowadays for Korean TV dramas is
amnesia.  Ji Jin Hee in Spring Days and Park Sun Young in the upcoming KBS drama, 18 vs. 29,

2/28/05:  
So Ji Sup and Lee Jung Jin have both started military service today.  So Ji Sup's dramas
include:  
I'm Sorry, I Love You; Hearts in Bali; and Glass Slippers.  Lee Jung Jin was in the TV

2/27/05:  
Maya (Bodyguard) will be singing the Korean national anthem on the Korean
Independence Day holiday
(March 1).  This is the second time she has been given this honor.  Like
Shin Sung Woo (Tropical Nights in December), Maya is a rock singer who also acts.  Read more

2/26/05:  Volumes 2 and 3 of the
Dae Jang Geum DVD will be coming available in a couple months.
 Volume 2 (episodes 19 - 36) is expected to be released on April 1.  Volume 3 (episodes 37 - 54) is
expected to be released on May 2.  Volume 1 is already available for sale.  All volumes of the
Dae
Jang Geum DVD

Sorry I Love You   
finished on Tuesday night and will be replaced by
Sassy Girl, Chung-hyang.  KBS LA is now
subtitling in English the daily TV novel,
You Are a Star.  The 9 P.M. News, however, is no longer
being subtitled.  
Hot December Nights finished and was replaced by Sad Love Song.  (Thanks
