Our check-in at the Korean Airlines counter at Incheon International Airport went smoothly. After going through Security, we waited for our flight to depart.
The toilets at Incheon Airport (above left) are similar to those at Chicago O'Hare Airport. They have plastic covers that rotate around the toilet seat when you press the red button. That means you should press the red button before you sit down if you want to make sure you have a clean toilet seat cover. Our flight from Seoul to Honolulu was long (7 hours and 23 minutes). Two meals were served in-flight. For one meal you could opt for the Korean menu which included bibimbap and seaweed soup. I had tried the Korean meal on the way over to Korea and selected it again on our return flight. It is very good.
We left Korea with many happy memories. Although we were very tired from being on the go so much during our stay, we appreciated the many places we saw and the people we met. It was truly a wonderful experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life. And as General Douglas MacArthur once said, "I shall return."
