| After exiting the Emperor Wang Gun filming site, we hiked back down the long road which passes many restaurants. We stopped at one of them, Hankukgwan, for lunch. The main dishes for this meal (right photo) were spicy pork with lettuce leaves, doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew), and fish. The doenjang jjigae (one of my favorite Korean dishes) helped warm our freezing bodies. It tasted just like the kind they served back home in Hawaii. I was happy. |
