| After lunch, we drove from Boseong to Wando Island. A bridge connects Wando Island to the mainland. Dramas filmed on Wando Island include the 2006 KBS drama, Spring Waltz, and the 2004 KBS drama, Emperor of the Sea. Above is a map of the Emperor of the Sea filming site that we visited. This drama focused on the true story of Jang Bogo, who was considered the "King of the Maritime Trade Empire" in the Shilla Dynasty. His motto was, "Those who rule the sea, rule the world." |

The photo above on the left shows the scene where Yon (played by Kim Heung Soo) and Ha-jin (played by Kim Ah Jung) confess their feelings for each other.
