There were no western-style tables and chairs in this restaurant.  Most of us sat on the ondol-heated floors to eat.
For lunch, we stopped at Seolawon Garden, a restaurant in Boseong, and tried green tea kalguksu (their specialty dish).  Kalguksu is thick handmade noodles served in a broth.  In Boseong, green tea is added to the noodles making them green in color (similar to green tea ice cream) and giving them a mild green tea flavor.  The green tea noodles had irregular shapes, unlike the usual udon-shaped kalguksu noodles found elsewhere.
To accommodate those in our group who were unable to sit on the floor, a makeshift western-style table was made by placing one Korean table directly on top another.  For seating, another Korean table was used as a bench.

Although Korea is a modern country, we ran across several restaurants that lacked western-style tables and chairs.  So if you cannot sit on the floor and the restaurant lacks western-style tables and chairs, ask them if they could put together a makeshift western-style table and bench for you as shown above.
