Jeju-Do Folklore and Natural History Museum
The weather was wet and cold so many tour groups headed indoors for the Jeju-Do Folklore and Natural History Museum.  When we got there, the parking lot was filled with buses and the museum was packed with people.

I was fascinated by the exhibits at this museum.  They covered not only folk culture, but also natural history.  This was the perfect way to learn about the history and culture of Jeju.

There was an exhibit on haenyeo (women divers in Jeju) who live a hard life diving for seafood.  There were also exhibits on the gal-ot (persimmon-dyed work clothes).

I was busy looking at all the exhibits and forgot to take photos.  Don't worry, though, because the museum has an excellent website that allows you to view some of the exhibits online.
