| We stayed at the Lotte Jeju Hotel which is on the south side of Jeju Island. This was the second of 3 Lotte Hotels that we stayed at during our trip. Each of the Lotte Hotels that we stayed at was modern and luxurious. Bae Yong Joon is a spokesman for Lotte Hotels and can be seen all over the hotels. |
| The Lotte Jeju Hotel was a major filming site for the 2003 SBS drama, All In, starring Lee Byung Hun, Song Hae Gyo, Ji Sung and Park Sol Mi. The casino in the hotel was used for the gambling scenes in the drama. One room of the casino is set aside to memorialize the drama. Note: you will need to show your passport when you enter the casino because Korean citizens are not allowed in the casino. If you have a camera, you will be asked to leave it at the casino's front desk since photos of the gambling areas are not permitted. However, they will allow you to take your camera in to the All In room to take photos. |
| There are several windmills in the back of the hotel. You can stroll along the paths and pass the windmills. The bench shown in the foreground is where a scene with Song Hae Gyo was filmed. |
