| Our Arrival To our surprise, the Jeju Provincial Government made a special welcome presentation to us upon our arrival at Jeju International Airport. Our eldest member of the group received a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The Province of Jejudo is comprised of Jeju Island. which is Korea's largest island and is located 110 miles south of the Korean mainland. This Province has the tallest mountain in Korea, Mt. Halla, which is in the center of Jeju Island and rises 1,950 meters above sea level. Jeju Island is a popular destination for honeymooners. |
| Yongduam (Dragon Head's Rock) One tourist attraction that is considered a must-see for honeymooners is Yongduam. According to legend, an Imugi (a pseudo dragon) stole a crystal bead from the Halla mountain god. When the god discovered the bead missing, the god pursued the Imugi and shot him with an arrow. The fatally-injured Imugi landed on the beach and turned into stone. Thus, there is a huge volcanic rock shaped like a dragon's head on the beach. |
