| Dae Jang-geum Symposium Cooking Demonstration by Korean Chef Sun-young Lee on November 9, 2005 at the Center for Korean Studies, University of Hawaii at Manoa |
| Chef Sun-young Lee (aka Chang Sun Young), is the author of A Korean Mother's Cooking Notes, a best-selling cookbook in Korea that has been translated into English using measurements and ingredients familiar to the U.S. reader. Chef Lee originally wrote the cookbook to pass on her cooking knowledge to her daughters-in law. She is a graduate of Ewha Womans University and now lives with her family in San Francisco. Fellow addicts who attended the cooking demonstration enjoyed a fun and educational evening of entertainment, as well as a generous sampling of the delicious foods cooked. |
