Her efforts are thwarted by her less-talented high school classmate, Dokgo Jean, who uses her father, a director at Saeil (the bag company where they work), to get ahead. Notwithstanding the misfortunes imposed on Suri, she perseveres and eventually becomes a designer at Saeil. In the meantime, the company president (Hoon) and the chairman's son who poses as an ordinary office worker (Joon-hwi) both fall in love with her. Go to ending of drama Factoid: Park Sun Young also played Hang-ja in Mothers and Sisters, which was aired in Hawaii at about the same time as Pretty Lady. Suri and Hang-ja were very different characters, but Sun Young played both characters to perfection. |
