| Learn Korean: kyeolhon (kyeol-hon) = marriage/wedding ui = of beopchik (beop-chik) = law/rule The Korean language does not use words such as "the" or "a." This is similar to the Chinese language. When translating Korean to English, translators will frequently insert "the" and "a" whenever appropriate. However, some translators forget to insert "the" or "a" in the English subtitles. That is why when you read the subtitles for some dramas, there seems to be a lot of grammatical mistakes; but actually it is because the translator just used the literal translation and forgot to insert the word "the."
